The work depicts the heroic spirit displayed by the Korean People’s Army soldiers during the Fatherland Liberation War who, with the faith to annihilate the enemy and flutter the national flag at the height, dash towards it through a hail of fire after taking over the flag from the fallen comrade-in-arms.
