The Academic Song and Dance Ensemble of the National Guard of the Russian Federation raised the curtain of its performance with the immortal revolutionary hymn Song of General Kim Il Sung.
  Its performers sang songs in praise of President Kim Il Sung, Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
  They depicted their will to strengthen and develop through generations the ties of friendship and cooperation between the DPRK and the Russian Federation in various art numbers representative of the character of their ensemble, thus fully demonstrating its features as a prestigious art troupe.
  Their performance, which reached its climax with the revolutionary hymn Ode to General Kim Jong Un, revved up the atmosphere of the festival.
