Every February the song February Is Spring resounds throughout the country.
  Created over two decades ago, it is one of the songs much favoured by the Korean people.
  The eye-opening changes in the country and the dignified life of the people are unthinkable apart from the wise leadership of Chairman Kim Jong Il. So the words of the song read in part:
   With the red flag fluttering over its roof,
   The native home has brought a new spring,
   Heralding a bright future for the country,
   February is spring on this land.
  Spring is vibrant with the warmth of the sun.
  The Korean people could achieve only victory thanks to Kim Jong Il who devoted his all to his country and people.
  Singing this song forever, they will surely build a powerful socialist country by translating his lifetime wishes into reality.
