The fifth national sculpture and craftwork festival to mark the 79th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea was opened at the Pyongyang International House of Culture on October 3, 2024.
On display at the venue of the festival were more than 350 sculptures and craftworks of diverse themes and styles created by the sculptors, craftsmen, amateurs and students from across the country.
The exhibits represented the best wishes of all the people for the WPK and the proud reality where the world-startling monumental edifices mushroom across the country according to the grand blueprint unrolled by the Party Central Committee.
The festival was a significant occasion to encourage the Korean people in their revolutionary advance to support the idea and leadership of the great WPK and promote the development of sculpture and craftwork in the country.
